We are in a such era where all the time we talk about the quality, certification, level etc.
There are some standards and quality parameters are defined by us/government.
ISI Mark
ISI mark is a certification mark for industrial products in India.
ISO
The International Organization for Standardization.
CMM Level
The Capability Maturity Model.
However we don't have such parameter for our government.
WHY?
Why don't we have such parameter or government organizations?
Why there is no control over their quality and productivity?
If it is there then where?
How can we (each Indian) can know about it?
How can we get benefit from this?
If not then
We should have some certification or quality level for our government organization.
Lets float this topic and let them know that we not only want government but we want quality government.
There are few Govt Organizations which have got the Navaratna and Maharatna Status depending on their performance.But these organization are not directly connected with Common Man. For example Govt should form some performance parameters for Dept like Revenue, Irrigation Dept and can give good incentives to Emps if they achieve some status.
